Built In Microwave - Keeping Essential Kitchen Space Efficiently

Kitchens come in all many shapes and sizes depending on your living arrangements. Though a big, spacious and modern kitchen would be ideal, many people have to deal with the space they have.

I live in a rented house with a minimal kitchen and I am thankful all the space that I can get. The counters are small and we don't even own a dishwasher. The old microwave oven I had before took up vital countertop space and its presence in the kitchen made the space cramped and difficult to work with. It was a very inefficient and unappealing wood paneled model from the late 1980s.

I wanted a new microwave for a long time but waited to see if there was a way to increase space without buying a small cheap model. The answer to this issue turned out to be very simple, once I looked into built in microwave ovens in the weekly Sunday sale papers. After some price comparison and a short trip to the store, I purchased a built in microwave 24" model.

I picked that specific model to make sure it would be able to fit over the stove and maximize the amount of space I could save. Once I removed the old small and underutilized cabinet above the stove, I could easily set up my built in microwave personally. Since the purchase and placement of the new built in microwave oven, there is more clean and comfortable space in the kitchen.

I would highly recommend investing the less amount of time I spent to purchase and install my built in microwave. However, if you do decide to take up a project like this, research the best prices online or in sale ads and be sure the built in microwave is the best size for your kitchen.
